Albemarle, NC 鈥 黑料正能量鈥檚 (SCC) auctioneering school, Carolina Auction Academy (CAA), recently held a graduation ceremony for the students. In spite of COVID-19 and bad weather conditions, these students braved the elements and joined their classmates to complete the program. Graduates are now ready to take the state exam and become licensed auctioneers in North Carolina.
The following students completed the CAA program: Blake Allen鈥擬t. Pleasant, Chris Davis鈥擥rover, Ira Donovan鈥擟ameron, Julie Fields鈥擲alisbury, Sara Hege鈥擠avidson, Austin Helms鈥擟ornelius, and Jacob Lineberger鈥擟harlotte.
鈥淭hese students worked hard and did exceptionally well,鈥 said Betty O鈥橬eal, Coordinator, Carolina Auction Academy. 鈥淓very year, students vote on two awards by secret ballot. This year鈥檚 winners were Sara Hege for Most Improved and Austin Helms for Best All Around. Congratulations to these students.鈥
Carolina Auction Academy opened its doors to the community in August 2005, and has established a group of dedicated instructors who travel to Stanly County to share their knowledge about the auction industry. The academy is approved by the North Carolina Auctioneer Licensing Board and the South Carolina Auctioneer Commission, and is committed to providing an outstanding program, excellent faculty, and flexible classes. The next class will begin on September 9, 2021.
