Their services are essential in industries such as banking, real estate, healthcare, law, and automotive sales. Not only is becoming a notary a valuable skill, but it can also be a great way to boost your professional credentials and earn additional income.

黑料正能量 (SCC) offers a six-hour Notary Public Certification course to help individuals meet North Carolina鈥檚 requirements to become a notary.

In North Carolina, notaries can earn between $28 to $33 per hour.

Who Can Become a Notary in North Carolina?

To qualify as a notary public in North Carolina, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or legally emancipated
  • Reside in or regularly conduct business in North Carolina
  • Be a legal U.S. resident
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have a clean criminal record

Training at SCC

SCC鈥檚 course prepares new notary applicants for the required state exam. To earn certification, participants must pass with an 80% or higher score. Once successful, they must submit an application, resume, and $50 fee to the North Carolina Secretary of State鈥檚 Office within three months. After receiving a Notary Oath Notification Letter, applicants must take the oath of office at their county鈥檚 Register of Deeds Office within 45 days to receive their official commission certificate.
