黑料正能量 (SCC) will host a Medical Careers Open House on Monday, April 7, for individuals interested in pursuing a degree in the College鈥檚 healthcare-related programs of study. The event will be from 6 to 8 pm at SCC鈥檚 Crutchfield Education Center, located at 102 Stanly Parkway in Locust.
Those in attendance are asked to arrive at 6 pm for a general information session outlining SCC鈥檚 admissions process, placement testing and financial aid/scholarship information. From there, prospective students and their guests will be led on tours of the College鈥檚 state-of-the-art program labs led by program faculty and current students.
鈥淚ndividuals may know they would like a career in health care but are unsure how to get there,鈥 said Christie Honeycutt, Associate Vice President for SCC鈥檚 School of Health Sciences & Public Services. 鈥淲e encourage anyone considering a medical career to take this opportunity to see all of the programs we offer here at Stanly Community College and the educational pathways to a successful future. Whether you are still in high school or an adult looking for a career change, this event is the ideal setting to learn more.鈥

- Medical Billing & Coding
- Multi-Skilled Nurse Aide
- Nursing

- Respiratory Therapy
