Detailed Application Instructions:

  1. Students will need to visit .
  2. Create an account. You can do this through 鈥淟og In/Sign In.鈥� Information required is basic name, address, email, etc.
  3. Click on 鈥淎pply to College.鈥�
  4. Go to 鈥淎pplication Hub.鈥�
  5. Click on 鈥淪tart an Application.鈥�
  6. You will search for a campus: 黑料正能量.
  7. Select: 黑料正能量 Undergraduate Application.
  8. Click 鈥淎pply.鈥�
  9. Review the Welcome Page, 鈥淎 Message from the Campus鈥� and then complete 鈥淣ame and Address and Personal Information鈥�. When you complete the first three boxes under Enrollment Term (you are a transfer student), a fourth box appears: 鈥淐hoose the program of study/major that interests you most.鈥� You will select: Elementary Education Residency Licensure Certificate (all selections are in alphabetical order).
    • Note: The application will prompt you for a Residency Certification #; just click on the link provided in the application. Use the same login and password for your CFNC account. This process is to verify your NC residency status so that you receive in-state tuition and only takes a few minutes. Have your driver鈥檚 license # and your social security # ready.)
  10. Finish the rest of the application pages and 鈥淪ubmit Application.鈥�
  11. You will receive two emails, one from CFNC (provides next steps) and one from Stanly Community College Admissions (provides program- specific requirements).
  12. From the time you submit the application, please allow for 3-5 business days for the application to be processed.
  13. Once your official transcripts and verification of employment (your RL form) have been received and reviewed, the success coach for the Residency Licensure program will reach out and provide next steps.
